Kazé | Chilling Out in Bengaluru
‘Wind' is equal parts powerful and breathtaking. Titled ‘Kazé', a Japanese word that translates to ‘wind,' the effect of this rooftop restaurant holds the same difference: perched 21 floors above ground level, it is surrounded by glorious 360-degree views of Bengaluru.
In a city that's lined with restaurants, pubs and microbreweries around every corner, it's quite difficult to make a strong design statement. Kazé succeeds with its very location at Skav 909—a new corporate hub—overlooking the city's most renowned landmark:The Bangalore Club. It also helps that its envious views complement its services that includes a Pan Asian cuisine, microbrewery, cocktail bar and lounge.
Kazé | There's Room for Everyone
The open lounge area is made for the cool Bengaluru weekday evenings where one can sit back after a long work day with witty banter while sipping on smooth cocktails. The exquisite bar and an extended open deck can seat large groups of friends quite comfortably, too. Foodies can thrive in Kazé's exclusive live Sushi & Sashimi dining counter, where chefs prepare a fine selection of meats and seafood. The upper private deck, of course, is Kazé's standout feature.
For private affairs, there is a separate dining space, where different lighting designs have been utilized at different sections. An outside terrace is also available for catering events and soirées, quite comfortably. The space, that can seat about 500 people, was conceptualised by the masterminds behind Bangalore Brew Works—Oblix Hospitality Ventures LLP— along with Anshul Chodha of Sanctuary Architects.
