Sangita Jindal是JSW基金会主席，并负责JSW集团的社会发展项目。Thanks to her passion and persistence in the last 20 years, the Foundation has seen exponential growth and enlarged its scope of activities in the areas of education, health, livelihood creation, local sports development, and conservation of the country’s arts and cultural heritage.A philanthropist who believes in the transformatory powers of art, Sangita set up The Jindal Arts Centre (1992) at the National Center for Performing Arts (NCPA), Mumbai, India which became a hub of interdisciplinary arts activity. She also publishes Art India Magazine which has been a chronicler of record of the Indian Art scene for over two decades. Her efforts to preserve heritage for future generations led to extensive restoration work at the Hampi temple complex in the southern Indian state of Karnataka & The Keneseth Eliyahoo Synagogue in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The Hampi Foundation was conferred the UNESCO-Asia Pacific Award for Merit for Cultural Heritage Conservation. In 2018, she founded the JSW Prize for Contemporary Crafstmanship in association with Architectural Digest, India.A testimony to this commitment comes with accolades, with the JSW Foundation being a recipient of the Golden Peacock Award for CSR in 2009. She’s also been conferred with several other prestigious awards, including the Marico Ricci-Metro Society Young Achievers Award in 2004, the Best Citizen Award conferred by the I Love Mumbai committee in 2002, and the FICCI Ladies Organization Woman Philanthropist Award in 2011.
