From 9 December 2016 to 7 January 2017, Nature Morte will have an exhibition of Subodh Gupta's works at Famous Studios in Mahalaxmi, Mumbai. It will feature almost exclusively new and never-before-seen works by Gupta—a mix of paintings and large sculptures. One of South Asia's best-known contemporary sculptors, Gupta has had a good year, with a solo show at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne; showings at London's Frieze, and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston; and, most recently, was one of the artists chosen for a residency at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
