What was best known for dreamy denims is now making a foray into interiors, and how. The Diesel Living group (a branch of the Italian retail company Diesel S.p.A.) has earlier collaborated with the best names in the industry: they paired up with Seletti for home accessories, Foscarini for lighting, Scavolini for kitchens and bathrooms, Berti for wood flooring and Moroso for furniture. And now, their latest collaboration with Modena-based Iris Ceramica extends their growing product range to ceramics.

With the first sneak peak unveiled at the Milan Design Week in April 2016, the exciting new collaboration has five unique design themes conceptualized for floor and wall coverings – Camp, Stage, Concrete, Industrial Glass, and Hard Leather – reflective of modern aspirations, represented by a variety of colours and textures. Camp includes dark colours and hard stone surfaces, reminiscent of tough army base camps. Stage, with its dulled and dented metal, recalls the anti-slip finishes of stage construction, or steely boxed used to transport musical instruments. The others, such as concrete and hard leather, are what they are – less ambiguous and more specific. Contemporary, edgy and stylish – the new line certifies Diesel Living's arrival as a complete home interiors brand, a move that was long anticipated.
