We're staring 2020 with a bang! Our first cover shows one of the last gardens by the late, legendary landscape architect Charles Jencks, that was built in Chattarpur, not Scotland! A groundbreaking private estate owned by interior designer Shalini Misra, this is a house that will go down in the history of design. How will we better our first covers of the year! Here are our top picks from the latest issue.

The Last Landscape Designed by Charles Jencks

A defining architect and landscape artist of the 21st century, Charles Jencks passed away in 2019, but not before designing his last project, a home and garden in Delhi. Called the ‘House of Light' this is the abode of designer Shalini Misra and her family, and the design showcases features inspired by cosmology. Read all about Misra's home and Jencks' final work in our cover story.

Fashion Designer Rahul Mishra's Couture Collection

Rahul Mishra who started his label in 2008, becomes the first Indian to showcase his designs at the prestigious Paris Haute Couture Week. His works have consistently received glowing reviews from both Indian and international press, and his commitment to avoiding machine processes is commendable. We share drawings from his couture collection that are inspired by the landscape of the Maldives.
